Roch Thériault turned ideology into control through punishment, forced procedures, and escalating abuse. Fear, isolation, and silencing of dissent kept members compliant until early reports began reaching authorities.
Ep 4:
Collapse of the Ant Colony
Child welfare intervention, survivor escape, and mounting testimony exposed the full extent of Roch Thériault’s abuse. These revelations led to formal prosecution, his 1993 arrest and conviction, and ultimately the collapse of the commune’s structure.
