Level 4 · 10 mo agoSo he stole it for Italy but tried to sell it? LMAO that logic makes zero sense. Total scammer.

Level 10 · 10 mo agoI call total bullshit on the patriotism excuse. He demanded a massive ransom immediately so it was clearly about the cash. He was just a greedy thief too uneducated to open a history book before stealing art.

Level 9 · 10 mo agoIt is naive to believe Peruggia was a patriot. He demanded a massive ransom for the painting. He was just a common thief using nationalism as a cover.
